Dr. Jack Kwan
Principal Advisor
Jack Kwan has over fifteen years of experience in offering admission counselling services to students bound for universities and graduate schools in the United States. He has been a strong advocate for interdisciplinary hands-on learning through STEM education. Jack also appears frequently on local media offering professional advice on science, technology and education.
Jack earned a B.S. degree with distinctions in molecular biology from University of Wisconsin-Madison with summer internship experience at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Prior to embarking on his graduate study, he had a two-year stint at Harvard Medical School where he was involved in developing a genetic screen for breast cancer. Upon obtaining his Ph.D degree, Jack was a post-doctoral research fellow at MIT and later a scientific advisor with a renowned patent law firm in Boston.
Derek Choi
Senior Advisor
Derek is a passionate educator, having started his own institution five years ago. His students come from major international schools and top local schools, as well as boarding schools in the UK. He was a GCSE Specialist Marker for Mathematics and has extensive knowledge of various curricula and international assessments.
He graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) with a B.Sc. in Mathematics. Prior to that, he graduated from Rugby School, UK, where he was placed within the Top 100 mathematicians in the country.
Moon Yiu
Senior Advisor
Moon graduated with honours from Imperial College London, holding a degree in Biochemistry. Prior to attending university, she attended Diocesan Girls' School and Ardingly College, a boarding school in England, where she was offered Music and Sports Scholarship as the Head of Music and England Sports County Representative. Moon specialises in UK boarding school and university admissions advisory.
Other than that, she focuses on helping the younger generation in building an all-round profile, including sports, art and music scholarship applications.
